Franks recently attended his first ranking event, the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase. He showcased a smooth swing and solid ball striking skills. He scored 93.60 points in the kickoff charting and connected with a big ball of 61 yards with 3.28 seconds of hang time. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting portion of camp and hit some solid footballs during the drill work portion.
