McDaniel competed at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He earned a 95.27 kickoff score, produced a best kickoff of 64 yards with 3.50 seconds of hang time, and converted 20 field goals during charting. McDaniel demonstrated the ability to consistently drive the football while also producing high-level "A" balls throughout the event.
