Kohl's Comments

Plate has excellent skills, and he had another strong camp in July of 2023. He scored 31/36 points on field goals and 104.68 points on kick offs at the National Scholarship Camp. He recently had a strong showing at the 2023 Midwest Showcase in the spring of 2023. He scored 14-15 points on field goals and 115.6 points on kick-offs. His leg strength is impressive and he is developing as a ball striker. At the Underclassman Challenge his kickoffs were some of the best in his class and he flashed high-level ability on his field goals as well. He scored 13 points in the field goal charting and had a big ball of 72 yards with 3.84 seconds of hang-time in the kickoff portion of camp. Plate attended his first Kohl's ranking event in December of 2022. Plate has the leg talent to play at a high level in college and we are excited to see what his future holds as a specialist.
