Kohl's Comments

Hamby competed vs 100 2023 grads and transfer players at the 2023 Senior Challenge and made 7 of 10 field goals. Hamby also had a strong performance at Kohl's Winter Showcase camp in December 2022. He scored an impressive 11 total points on field goals in charting, which speaks to his improved accuracy coupled with his strong leg. During the kickoff portion of the camp, he had three kicks over 60+ yards and a big ball of 71 yards with 3.48 seconds of hang time. As we've seen before, his consistency and accuracy have steadily improved through detailed drill work focus to match his already strong, explosive leg. Hamby showed some strong improvements in his technique during the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship. He had a big ball during kickoffs of 74 yards with 3.65 seconds of hang time and added in 15 points during the field goal charting. Hamby has such impressive power through his kicks and seems to be improving on his consistency through each camp he attends.
