Shepherd had his best performance to date at the 2024 Kohl's California Winter Showcase, hitting 7 field goals and recording a standout 105.30 kickoff score. His leg speed is evident, and his best ball reached 66 yards with a hang time of 3.90 seconds. With his strong kickoff performance, Shepherd has a lot of potential to continue developing and refining his skills this offseason. Shepherd came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January. He scored 1 point on field goal charting and connected on a few nice reps during the drill work portion of camp. Continued focus on leg strength and repeatability will add value to Shepherd's game. He had a nice weekend kicking off with a score 91.85. Shepherd's big ball traveled 60 yards with 3.48 seconds of hang time. Shepherd recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase. He had a great showing for his first ranking event, showing great command of the football throughout the camp. He ended up tallying 5 points on the field goals. During the kickoff charting, Shepherd ended with a good score of 97.75. He demonstrated his leg strength with his "A" ball reaching a distance of 69 yards with a hang time of 3.66 seconds. Shepherd flashed his potential during the camp, and with a focus on his ball-striking consistency he can continue to make great improvements within his craft. It will be exciting to see what he can do in his next two seasons!
