Kohl's Comments

Werd recently competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2020. He hit multiple 48+ yard punts at camp and is developing into a very solid 2021 college prospect. Werd attended the June 2020 Showcase and showed some impressive stats during the charting session. Werd posted a 72 yard 3.52 second kickoff and displayed some strong consistency in his kick offs throughout camp. Werd competed at the 2019 Kohl's Winter Showcase Camp in Atlanta, GA and then the Future Stars Event in January of 2020. His kick off charting was impressive with his consistency and with some continued growth and development he will have the strength to compete with the athletes ranked ahead of him. He showed some impressive leg talent during the kick off charting phase of the showcase camp with multiple 60+ yard hits.
