    Schmidt attended the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase, where he had a good performance for his first ranking event. He converted seven field goals and earned a kickoff score of 91.95. His best kickoff traveled 61 yards with a 3.35-second hang time, reflecting a solid foundation of leg strength. With continued development and refinement of his mechanics, Schmidt has the potential to elevate his performance to the next level.
