Cassel competed at a December 2024 Showcase in both kicking and punting. He graded out at the 4.5-star level as a kicker and 5.0-star level as a punter. His punt score of 106.30 points in the pocket was outstanding. He also did well in the rollout phase of camp. Cassel scored 7/15 points on field goals and 101.4 points on kickoffs. Cassel has college talent as a combo k/p and is someone to watch for as February's signing day closes in!
