Kohl's Comments

Ruiz is a pure ball striker who has continued to work at being the best he can be. He had another strong showing at the 2022 Eastern Spring Showcase by scoring 11 points in the field goal charting portion of camp. His drill work was excellent and if he can continue to increase his command of his approach to the ball on his kickoffs, he should continue to see improvements in his kickoff ability. His big ball charted at camp on kickoffs was a 63 yard 3.24 second ball. Ruiz attended the 2021 Kohl’s Eastern Winter Showcase where he put together a great performance throughout the charting. He scored an impressive 10 points on his field goal and having an average score of 96.65 points for his kickoffs. Ruiz has excellent control over his body through his approach and has some intriguing upside as a kicker in the class of 2023.
