Cody had another strong showing at the 2026 Kohl's National Underclassman Challenge. He showed off impressive leg speed and charted a score of 116.03 points in the kickoff portion. His overall score on field goals was 12 points, and his punt score was 98.88. His biggest charted punt at camp was 59 yards with 4.26 seconds of hang time. The 2025 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase provided an opportunity for Luke Cody to prove he belongs among the top recruits nationally. He completed field goal charting with 9 points, achieved 112.6 on kickoffs, and earned 99.57 on punts. His longest kickoff reached 78 yards with a hang time of 3.5 seconds, while his best punt measured 55 yards with a hang time of 4.0 seconds.
