Kohl's Comments

While competing during the 2021 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase, Arends showed off some impressive leg talent. His showed the his “A” ball on field goals can compete with anyone in the country and he averaged 103.95 points on his kickoffs. Arends will see his leg speed have more of an impact as he gains more control over his body through his approach which makes him an exciting prospect to watch. Arends recently competed at the 2021 Texas Spring Showcase. He displayed improved ball striking in his field goals by charting 6 points at camp. He kicked off well and was consistent with his steps on his approach to the ball. Arends can continue to focus on commanding his hips through contact in hopes of creating a cleaner, more consistent ball flight which will help his accuracy improve.
