Maiberg had an excellent showing at the 2023 Eastern Spring Showcase, his first ranking event. He competed in all three disciplines at camp and showed strong leg strength and consistent technique. His kickoff charting produced a score of 103.50 and a big ball of 69 yards with 3.51 seconds of hang time. He scored 6/15 potential points in the field goal charting. During the punt charting, he scored 90.27 with a big ball of 39 yards with 4.08 seconds of hang time.
