Gilchrist had his best showing to date at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 19 points in the combined field goal charts and impressed with his leg strength in the kickoff and punt charting. He produced a score of 103.92 points in kickoffs which includes a big ball of 70 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time. In the punt charting his overall score was 89.78 with his biggest ball of 44 yards with 4.46 seconds of hang time. At the 2025 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase in Chicago, Konnell Gilchrist gained valuable experience that will aid his ongoing improvement. His kickoff charting session earned a total of 89.5 points, highlighted by a best ball of 57 yards with a hang time of 3.3 seconds. he competed in punts and flashed some solid ball striking for a younger athlete and produced a score of 73.99 points. He continues to build on a solid foundation of fundamentals and demonstrated qualities that indicate potential for further development in the months ahead.
