Bartels competed at the 2024 National Scholarship Camp and was a finalist for the Under Armour All-American Game. His punt score of 107.24 points was outstanding. He also scored 19 points in the rollout phase of camp. At Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in May he dominated the punt charts. His "A" ball was huge! He had two punts that had over 5.2 seconds of hang-time. Bartels has D1 leg speed and can develop into an outstanding college player. If Bartels can speed up his hands and shorten the space he takes up he can be the #1 punter in the country. Bartels continued to grow his kicking abilities over the last six months. He scored 8/15 points on field goals and 113.10 points on kickoffs. His best kickoff was a 76-yard kickoff with 3.71 seconds of hang time. Bartels has big ball potential as a kicker as every charted kickoff at camp traveled 71 yards or more. Bartels competed at the Underclassman Challenge and scored an impressive 105.22 points in punting. He also attended two December Showcases and earned an invite to the Underclassman Challenge. His best punt chart in December was 109.3 points. He is a technically sound punter and his biggest punt in December was a 57 yard blast with 4.2 seconds of hang-time. Bartels has also improved his kicking to move up to the 4.5 star level as a kicker. He also competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He was excellent in the punt portion of camp and also showed well on field goals and kickoffs. He has become one of the best punters in his class and was impressive throughout the camp. His best charted punt was 50 yards with 4.81 seconds of hang time. He scored 17 combined points in the field goal charting and was able to average 97.53 on his charted kickoffs. Bartels competed at the 2023 Midwest Spring Showcase Camp. He showed well in all three disciplines at the event. He has worked hard on his technique and is making progress with his overall field goal and kickoff development. He scored a big ball of 63 yards with 3.80 seconds of hang time in the kickoff portion of camp and was able to score 7 points in the field goal charting.
