Kohl's Comments

Purvis recently competed at a Kohl's Winter Showcase Event in December of 2022. He had some solid moments at camp and showed good leg strength with a 60-yard kickoff during the charting phase of camp. Purvis competed at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He had a solid event and was able to score an average of 94.2 during the second kickoff charting phase of camp. Purvis attended the 2022 Kohl's Spring Ranking Event in McKinney, Texas. He charted both field goals and kickoffs at the event and showed a natural kicking motion. Purvis charted the majority of his kickoffs over 55 yards in distance during the kickoff phase of camp. As he develops, lower body strength will help him maximize distance and hangtime, and will be key to him moving up in the rankings. We are excited to see how Purvis, an Oklahoma native, develops over the next few years as a 2024 prospect.
