Oertling recently competed at his first ranking event, the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He showed above average leg speed and command at camp. He scored 97.80 points in the kickoff charting at camp which includes a big ball of 64 yards with 3.47 seconds of hang time. He produced 6 points in the field goal charting. He is a solid prospect who with continued improvement of the command of his rotation, should see a steady increase with his development.
