Kohl's Comments

Koch recently competed at the 2021 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He was impressive in his field goal command and his leg strength. His ball flight and power on his field goals and kickoffs were excellent. He displayed scholarship level ability in both disciplines. He scored 25 points in the field goal charting and he was able to score an average of 107.25 on his three kickoff sessions. He has powerful and carries himself well through contact. Koch attended a Winter Showcase and the Future Stars Event in January of 2021. He showed a strong leg at both events. His KO score of 107 at the Future Stars Event was impressive. He also was solid at both events on FG's. If he wants to maximize his talent he needs to continue to refine his ball striking on field goals.

Athlete Bio

I am currently a Junior at Midview High School, a Division II football program in Grafton, Ohio. I have played soccer at a very high level for the majority of my youth including playing in the US Youth National Soccer league for the last two seasons. This past summer, I pivoted and began an interest in football kicking. I played my first year of football as a Junior. I went 20 for 20 in PATs, and 2 for 2 in field goals (27, 35). I also had an average of 58-62 yards on my kick offs. I continue to develop my kicking and have increased distance on both kickoffs and field goals. My longest kickoff is 72 yards and longest field goal is 58 yards. I am still narrowing down my choice of academic studies in college but currently considering the areas of Business marketing/entrepreneurship and/or computer programming.
