Kohl's Comments
With his performance at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp, Joshua Scherer demonstrated he has the tools to compete at the next level. His field goal charting phase earned him a total of 30 points. At the 2026 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase, he scored 13 points in field goal charting. Scherer excelled in kickoff charting, achieving 97.8 points with a top kick of 64 yards and a hang time of 3.5 seconds. Consistency during drills and a solid score of 83.46 seconds in punt charting highlighted his potential. This showing placed him firmly among the top prospects, and he continues to widen the gap between himself and his peers nationally.Uploaded Photos

Joshua Scherer is a dual-sport varsity Athlete at Olympia High School. He began his high school varsity football career as a kicker/punter in August 2025, has been a Lake Highland Club Soccer player throughout middle school/high school, and has been a Varsity Soccer Player for Olympia High School--playing the Midfielder position.
Joshua performed at the Kornblue National Kicking Showcase in Naples, FL (January 2026)--and placed 3rd in the competition that day for the class of 2027. This resulted in a 4.5* 2027 Class Ranking.
Joshua performed at the Kohl National Kicking Showcase in Atlanta, GA (May 2026) and was invited to the Kohl National Scholarship Camp in Gatlinburg TN (July 2026). This resulted in a 4.5* Kicker and an 3.5* Punter 2027 Class Ranking of 57. He tied for 6th best performance in Field Goals at the Scholarship Camp with a score of 30.
Joshua has a 5.094 GPA at Olympia High School--and has taken 8 AP classes. His SAT score is 1430. He has received the AP Scholar Award with Distinction for his scores on the 8 AP classes.
