Kohl's Comments

Carlson recently attended the 2017 National Scholarship Camp. He hit smooth spirals that came off of his foot well. The emphasis this fall will need to be on making contact up and through at knee height. Currently most of his longer punts are being made below knee height and he is driving the ball and not creating hang time. It should be a simple adjustment for him with the leg speed that he has. Carlson’s attended the Western Showcase Camp in the spring of 2017. He hit some very impressive punts during the charting portion of camp with multiple 45+ yards.
