Contreras displayed the tools to contribute in all three phases, and with continued development of his leg strength and refinement of his technique, he has the potential to continue to get better. Contreras attended the 2026 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. Contreras showed quality versatility across all three disciplines, and continued refinement of his overall consistency this offseason will help him continue progressing as a combo specialist. He also recorded an 80.66 punt score, demonstrating workable technique and a foundation he can continue to build on with added reps and refinement. Contreras participated at the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase, competing in the less-than-ideal weather. He converted 1 field goal and earned a 73.60 kickoff score, with his best kickoff traveling 43 yards with 3.13 seconds of hang time. He also finished with a 73.49 punt score, showing developing ability in that phase. Contreras is a young specialist with room to grow as he continues refining his technique and confidence.
