Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Maurer competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. He had a good day and earned a 4-star rating at his first ranking event. Maurer scored 8 points on field goals and struck the football with confidence and composure. He scored 95.25 points on kickoff charting, connecting on a big ball of 65-yard kickoff with 3.21 seconds of hang time. The sky is the limit for Maurer. He has much potential to be one of the most talented kickers in the class of 2026. Efforts focused on his technique will continue his growth over the next two years.Academics
