Kohl's Comments

Weaver recently attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2019. He creates great hang times on his punts and showed that he is ready to compete at the next level. This fall will be key for him to conitinue to grow and maximize his talents as a specialist. Weaver attended the 2019 Southern Spring Showcase. He is developing into a very strong punter. He charted punts with above average hang time and distance. He hit several 4.4 second punts and was comfortable catching the ball out and dropping it consistently. Increasing the command of his ball/foot contact will help with the development of his field goal and kickoff ability. His big ball on the day for kickoffs was a 60 yard 3.1 second ball. Weaver attended the 2019 Kohls Future Stars Event at IMG Academy. He had a good showing at the event and is close to moving up in the next level of Kohl's rankings. Weaver attended the Southern Showcase camp in December of 2018. He had a solid charting performance on punts and also demonstrated that he can perform the roll-out punt.
