Murguia performed well at the 2024 Kohl's California Winter Showcase, registering 6 field goals and a 94.95 kickoff score. His best ball reached 61 yards with a hang time of 3.41 seconds. Additionally, Murguia showed potential in punting with an 80.21 punt score. With continued focus and development, Murguia has the ability to elevate his performance in the offseason. Murguia also competed at the 2023 California Winter Showcase. He had a good showing for a young athlete at his first ranking event. Murguia tallied 4 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff portion, he had a number of balls 50+ yards, with his big ball measuring a distance of 56 yards with a hang time of 3.32 seconds. Murguia has two more years to continue to build his leg strength and work out his technique, it will be fun to watch him develop.
