    Castro had a solid showing for his first ranking event, the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. He has quick hips and was consistent with his ball striking and technique. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting and was able to produce a score of 91.25 in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest charted kickoff was 61 yards with 3.07 seconds of hang time. Hitting the weights this winter will be key for his continued development the next 6 months.
