McGarry competed at his first ranking event, the 2024 Kohl's California Winter Showcase. He displayed powerful legs and good ball striking in the kickoff portion of camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 95.40 points which inlcudes a big ball of 64 yards with 3.44 seconds of hang time. He flashed an impressive "A" ball in the drill work portion of field goals and scored 3 points in the charting portion of camp.Academics
