Kohl's Comments

Russo had a strong showing at the 2021 Kohl's Southern December Showcase. He competed in all three areas of the event but truly shined in his punting. He was solid during the charting portion of camp by hitting a big ball of 56 yard 4.84 second ball but where he really separated himself was during the drill work. He catches the ball well and uses his frame to create excellent lift and drive on the ball. He scored a big ball on kickoffs of 72 yards with 3.72 seconds of hang time and was also able to chart 2 points in the field goal charting. He has the potential to be one of the better punting prospects in his class.
