Kohl's Comments

Russo had a strong showing at the 2022 Kohl's UC Challenge. He moved into the 5-star category. In December, he competed in all three areas of the event but truly shined in his punting. He was solid during the charting portion of camp by hitting a big ball of 56 yards (4.84 seconds of hang-time) but where he really separated himself was during the drill work. He catches the ball well and uses his frame to create excellent lift and drive on the ball. Russo has the potential to be one of the best punting prospects in his class.

Recruiting Blog: Setting Goals-- Athletic, Academic & Recruiting

Being a Kohl’s Coach for over ten years, the one thing I hear the most from athletes is talk of their star rating & ranking and what they want to achieve, especially during the Showcase season. But I wonder how many have thought about what it takes to achieve it and how to make it happen with their training? I am a big believer of setting high goals, laying out a detailed plan and doing everything in my power to try and achieve them.
