Kohl's Comments

Popa recently kicked at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He scored 22 points on field goals and 109.93 points on kickoffs at the camp in July of 2025. Popa showed the leg strength and overall talent needed to play in college. Popa also competed at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase and showcased solid performance. He made 8 field goals and recorded a kickoff score of 94.05. His best ball was a 62-yard kick with a hang time of 3.34 seconds. With continued offseason work on his consistency and leg strength, Popa has the potential to further improve his performance. Popa attended the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 16 points on field goals and 92.77 points on kickoffs. He had a very consistent performance. Popa's best kickoff was a 69-yard blast with 3.53 seconds of hang time. Popa has big ball potential on kickoffs. Continued efforts on repeatability will help Popa elevate his abilities to the next level. We are excited to continue following his progress. Popa came out to the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Showcase Camp in December. He showed growth in command of his "A" ball during camp. Popa scored 7 points on field goal charting. He finishes through the ball nicely. Popa kicked off well at camp also, scoring a 92.80. He smashed a 67-yard kickoff with 3.53 seconds of hang time and hit many touchbacks during his high school season. Popa has the tools to explode onto the scene in the 2026 class if he continues to work on repeatability. Popa recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He had a strong showing for his first ranking event and impressed with his field goal ability throughout the event. He scored a combined total of 21 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 60 yards with 3.42 seconds of hang time.
