At the 2026 Kohl’s Spring Southern Showcase, Wakefield snapped like a man on fire. He was ripping the ball through the target and finished tied for the second-highest score in the country for the 2029 class and a .68-second snap time. He consistently had tight rotation on his snaps and was on target the entire day. Wakefield finished the day by winning the final snapping competition with a .66-second laser through the middle of the target. He is already showing the ability to be elite and hasn’t come close to reaching his full potential.
