Kohl's Comments

Witmer recently attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He showed very well on all three disciplines and allowed us to see that he has the leg talent required to punt at a high level with multiple 45+ yard hits with over 4.5 seconds off hang time. Witmer competed at the 2022 Eastern Spring Showcase Camp. He showed good pop on his kickoffs by hitting a big ball of 66 yards with 3.74 seconds. He also displayed a refined swing on his field goals were he charted 7 points and hit some great field goals during the drill work and evaluation portions of camp. During the 2021 Kohl’s Eastern Winter Showcase, Witmer had a strong showing throughout the camp. During the field goal charting, he scored 7 points and added in several kickoffs over 55+ yards. Witmer displays very smooth mechanics through his kicks but will see his consistency improve as he focuses on repeatable ball contact.
