Kohl's Comments

Nelms came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January. He scored 2 points on field goals and was able to hit a few clean kicks throughout drill work. Nelms takes coaching extremely well. Nelms scored 88.30 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 58 yards with 3.36 seconds of hang time. Nelms scored 83.33 points on punt charting with a big ball of 44 yards with 4.04 seconds of hang time. Nelms shows flashes of potential. Efforts focused in the weight room will help Nelms have a huge year. Nelms recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 7 points on the field goal session, showing good body control through contact. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 62 yards with a hang time of 3.28 seconds. On the punt session, Nelms send his standout ball a distance of 45 yards with a hang time of 3.05 seconds. Nelms has a big offseason ahead of him!
