Nelms recently competed at the 2024 Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He finished with 8 points on field goal charting, showing good rotation of the football. He achieved an overall punt score of 83.68, with his standout punt being a 46-yard kick with a hang time of 3.76 seconds. Nelms is an exciting prospect to watch going into his final season. Nelms came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January. He scored 2 points on field goals and was able to hit a few clean kicks throughout drill work. Nelms takes coaching extremely well. Nelms scored 88.30 points on kickoffs with a big ball of 58 yards with 3.36 seconds of hang time. Nelms scored 83.33 points on punt charting with a big ball of 44 yards with 4.04 seconds of hang time. Nelms shows flashes of potential. Efforts focused in the weight room will help Nelms have a huge year. Nelms recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 7 points on the field goal session, showing good body control through contact. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 62 yards with a hang time of 3.28 seconds. On the punt session, Nelms send his standout ball a distance of 45 yards with a hang time of 3.05 seconds. Nelms has a big offseason ahead of him!
