Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Chmelar earned an invite to the Underclassman Challenge in December of 2023 with a good day at a winter Showcase Camp. He scored 11/15 points on field goals and 105.8 points on kick offs. His biggest kick off traveled 70 yards and had 3.97 seconds of hang-time. Chmelar is a good overall athlete who has a big year ahead as specialist. He is someone to keep an eye on!Uploaded Photos

Athlete Bio
I have been playing sports since I was old enough to pick up a ball. I am passionate about playing at the next level and come from a long legacy of D1 college athletes. My dad, grandpa and five other family members have paved the way! I pride myself on being a good teammate, having a great attitude and being one of the hardest workers on every team I play on. I enjoy the work and I'm willing to put in the time to not only improve but to compete and be an influence on others. Leadership is very important to me, and I try to set the tone by example. I will not give up and I never quit! This goes for the classroom as well. I understand that sacrifice and investments now lead to future relationships, better jobs, and being a more well-rounded person. I’m looking forward to attending a college where values are important, competition is great, and I can push myself on and off the field to be a better man. Win or lose, rain or shine, I’ll give you everything I’ve got!
