Lair participated in the 2025 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase and had a strong overall showing. He made 13 field goals during the charting session and scored 105.00 on kickoffs, with his best ball traveling 67 yards at 3.84 seconds of hang time. His consistency in field goal charting paired with his good leg speed on kickoffs makes him a well-rounded prospect with exciting potential heading into the summer. Lair came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He had a solid showing at his first ranking event and earned a 4-star rating. Lair scored 17 points on field goals and 95.45 on kickoffs. He has a smooth approach to the football. His best kickoff was a 64-yard ball with 3.37 seconds of hang time. Lair has good leg strength for the 2026 class. Efforts focused on mechanical tweaks will help him grow over the next two seasons.
