Kohl's Comments

Rottman recently attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He showed the leg strength to be a competitive specialist at the next level on kickoffs and with continued growth on field goal technique he will be ready to compete with athletes ranked ahead of him. During the 2022 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase, Rottman showed steady improvement in his technique and mechanics. He showed a smooth rhythm in his approach to the ball on his field goals and hit several kickoffs over 55+ yards. Rottman is working in the right direction in his progression as a kicker and should look to make a big jump in his charting in the coming months. Rottman's first ranking event with Kohl's was the 2022 Kohl's Spring Ranking Event at the National Training Center, where he earned 4-star status as a kicking prospect. The pure-kicker posted a kickoff score of 85.60. This included multiple kickoffs in the upper 50-yard range. He also scored 5 points during the field goal phase of the event.
