McKenna attended Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. At camp he scored 113.6 points on kickoffs and 26 points on field goals at camp. He showed he has college potential as a kicker and is someone to watch during his senior season. He graded out at the 5-star level at camp! McKenna had a strong showing at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He connected on 8 field goals during the charting session and was impressive in the kickoff portion, earning a 109.95 score. His best kickoff traveled 73 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time. McKenna's performance reflects refined mechanics and above-average leg strength, and he is trending in the right direction as he continues his development.
