His kickoff total reached 106.35 points, featuring a longest ball of 67 yards and a hang time of 4 seconds. In punt charting, he earned 106.67 points with a best of 56 yards and a hang time of 4.6 seconds. Kern's technique created stability in his performance and he impressed throughout the event in both the charting and drill work portions of camp.
