Kohl's Comments

Cone competed at the 2018 Southern Spring Showcase Camp. Cone recently attended the 2017 National Scholarship Camp. He averaged over 38 yards per punt and showed well during the drill-work portion of punting at camp. He also scored 6 made field goals and his big ball during kickoffs was 60 yards with 3.31 seconds of hang time. He has great natural rhythm in his ball striking. He creates good tempo with his energy through contact and hits with great confidence. He charted 18 made kicks on field goals and averaged 58.25 yards per kickoff, he also charted several 40 + yard punts with 4.0+ seconds of hang time. Increasing leg strength will be key for his continued development.
