Kohl's Comments

Steinkamp recently attended the 2022 Western Spring Showcase. He had an excellent first showing with us at the event. He has long levers and excellent power in his hips. He graded out well in punting and flashed excellent potential in his kickoffs and his field goals. He scored 6 points in charting portion of camp and was able to smash a big ball of 76 yards with 3.62 seconds of hang on his kickoffs. His big punt was a huge ball of 56 yards with 4.87 seconds of hang time. He has college talent and will be a great addition to lot of programs.

Recruiting Blog: Setting Goals-- Athletic, Academic & Recruiting

Being a Kohl’s Coach for over ten years, the one thing I hear the most from athletes is talk of their star rating & ranking and what they want to achieve, especially during the Showcase season. But I wonder how many have thought about what it takes to achieve it and how to make it happen with their training? I am a big believer of setting high goals, laying out a detailed plan and doing everything in my power to try and achieve them.
