Carter Symington looked confident in his technique throughout the 2025 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. During the event’s charting sessions, he recorded 11 points on field goals, 96.9 on kickoffs, and 94.8 on punts. His top kicks included a 60-yard kickoff with a hang time of 3.9 seconds and a 49-yard punt with a hang time of 4.0 seconds. Carter is a 4.5-Star kicker and 4.0-Star punter from Kearney, NE. He set the all-time high school record at Kearney High School (NE) with a 54-yard field goal at a school rich in special teams' history (e.g., NFL notables Kyle Larson and Brett Maher). Carter was perfect in PAT attempts during his varsity stint, making 29 of 29 attempts. Whether kicking off or punting, Carter consistently delivered impressive ball placement conducive to team success, whether that be kicking or punting the deep ball, kicking or punting away from elite returners, placing the ball inside the 5-yard or 10-yard line, or providing impressive ball movement on squib kicks. Carter has a great head on his shoulders, a powerful leg, knowledge of the game and humility.
