Lopes competed at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational and delivered a good performance as a combo specialist. He earned an 86.55 punt score, posted a 94.97 kickoff score, and converted 16 field goals during charting, showing noticeable improvement in his kicking. Lopes continues to trend in the right direction and has the potential to become an even more complete specialist with continued development. Lopes competed at the 2026 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He connected on 6 field goals during charting and showed consistent ball striking with solid rhythm. Lopes also earned an 86.35 kickoff score while producing an "A" ball of 58 yards with 3.08 seconds of hang time. Continued work in the weight room this offseason should help elevate his game even further.
