    Welker competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. He performed well and graded out as a 4-star athlete at his first ranking event. Welker scored 6 points on field goals and 97.25 points on kickoffs. He connected on multiple kickoffs of 60 yards or more, and his big ball traveled 64 yards with 3.46 seconds of hang time. Welker has good leg strength. Paired with some minor tweaks to his mechanics, Welker will blossom into a strong college prospect in the class of 2025.
