Kohl's Comments

Patten had a strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Spring Ranking Event. He showed increased leg strength and competed in all three disciplines at camp. He scored 9 points in the field goal charting and hit some excellent footballs during the drill work portion. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 64 yards with 3.51 seconds of hang time. He connected with some solid punts as well and produced a big ball of 44 yards with 3.40 seconds of hang time. Patten competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He had a good performance for it being his first ranking event, flashing great command of the football throughout. He was able to put up 8 points on the field goal session.
