Patten had an excellent showing at the 2025 Kohl's Senior Challenge. He showed improvement in the command of his "A" ball and scored 112.65 points in the kickoff charting at camp. His score on field goals was 6 points. Patten competed at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase and delivered an excellent performance. He scored an impressive 13 points on field goals, showcasing consistency and accuracy. Patten earned a kickoff score of 105.25, with his big ball traveling 71 yards and hanging for 3.80 seconds. In punts, he achieved an overall score of 91.74, with his "A" ball traveling 47 yards and hanging for 3.98 seconds. Patten's strong performance highlighted his versatility and potential as a top-tier specialist. Patten came out to the 2024 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event in Texas. He shined bright as a combo athlete once again. Patten scored 9 points on field goals, 105.95 points on kickoffs, and 95.31 points on punt charting. His leg strength has improved over the last few months.
