Kohl's Comments

Baker competed at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He scored 26 points on field goals and 113.53 points on kickoffs. He graded out at the 5-star level as a kicker at the event and has a bright future as a specialist. Baker also competed at the 2025 Kohl's Western Spring Showcase. He put up 9 field goals during the charting session and showed off a powerful leg on kickoffs, earning an outstanding 115.50 overall score. His best kickoff traveled 77 yards with 4.00 seconds of hang time, marking him as one of the stronger performers at the event. Baker’s combination of consistency and explosiveness makes him a standout prospect with exciting potential. Baker had an impressive showing at the 2024 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase. He showed increased leg speed and has improved the command of his "A" ball on field goals. He scored 7 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 102.65 in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest charted kickoff was 65 yards with 3.78 seconds of hang time. His tempo to the ball in the kickoff portion was excellent and he has developed a lot of confidence in his ball striking. Baker competed at the 2023 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase. Here he had a great showing for his first ranking event. Baker ended up with 6 points on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting he showed good command of the football where he had a number of his punts surpass the 60-yard mark. His standout ball reached a distance of 68 yards with a hang time of 3.36 seconds. Baker will be a fun prospect to watch over the next year!
