Thornburgh competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational and put together a solid showing. He made 12 field goals during the charting portion and had a strong kickoff performance, scoring 94.20 overall with a standout ball of 64 yards and 3.15 seconds of hang time. His ability to strike clean footballs and remain consistent under pressure makes him a promising prospect to follow over the next two seasons.Thornburgh came out to the 2025 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp in May. He scored 5 points on field goals and had some clean kicks throughout the day. Thornburgh scored 86.40 points on kickoffs. Continued hard work on his repeatability will aid in his development over the next two seasons. Thornburgh competed at the 2025 Kohl's Future Stars Camp. He charted 4 field goals during the event. Thornburgh earned a 93.30 kickoff score, with his best ball traveling 64 yards with 3.24 seconds of hang time. He has a strong foundation to build on, and with continued focus and training, he has the potential to become a more impactful specialist in the future. Thornburgh competed at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase, where he showed improvement since the last ranking event. He finished by connecting on 7 field goals while demonstrating good body mechanics through contact. His best ball on kickoffs traveled 60 yards with a hang time of 3.25 seconds, and he earned a 92.35 overall kickoff score. Continued development this offseason will help him maximize his potential as a specialist. Thornburgh attended the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase. He flashed excellent potential in the drill work and charting portion of field goals. He had confidence with his ball striking and he scored 5 points in the charting portion of camp. His lift on his kicks was solid and his consistency of his approach to the ball was good. He scored 83.10 on the kickoff portion of camp which included a big ball of 56 yards with 3.34 seconds of hang time. His overall ability will improve with him focuing on adding muscle and getting stronger the next two years.
