Ray competed at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational and put together a strong all-around performance as a combo specialist. He connected on 11 field goals, earned a 92.08 kickoff score, and recorded a 91.92 punt score, demonstrating consistency across all three disciplines. Ray has built a solid body of work heading into his senior season and will look to continue that progress throughout the fall. Braden Ray had a strong showing at the 2026 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase in Atlanta. He showed great poise for his first ranking event, and he connected with some excellent footballs at camp. He recorded 11 field goal points, 93.3 kickoff points, and 91.2 punt points at the event. His top performances included a 62-yard kickoff with a hang time of 3.1 seconds and a 48-yard punt with a hang time of 4.2 seconds. Overall a very solid showing in all three disciplines at camp.
