Hampton recently competed at the 2023 National Scholarship Showcase. During the kickoff charting, Hampton had the majority of his kicks surpass the 60-yard mark, with his big ball measuring a distance of 66 yards with a hang time of 3.64 seconds. Hampton graded out at the 4.5-star level at the Western Showcase in May of 2023. He showed well in the drill work phase of camp and was able to score 8 of 15 points on field goals and 100.3 points on kick-offs. Hampton has a bright future as a kicker because he is able to create good leg speed with good control over his body. It will be exciting to watch what Hampton can do this season, as he is really coming into his own as a specialist!
