Kohl's Comments

Scharper had another strong showing at the 2022 Eastern Winter Showcase Camp. He competed in all three disciplines at the event and had some impressive moments at camp. He scored 9 field goals in the charting and hit some clean footballs with excellent lift in the charting portion. He was able to connect on a big ball of 64 yards with 3.41 seconds of hang time on kickoffs and hit a big ball of 44 yards with 3.68 seconds of hang in the punting portion. Scharper attended the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2022. He showed next level leg strength on kickoffs with multiple 68+ yard hits with good hang time. He has the tools required to be a dominant specialist at the next level.
