Athlete Bio

AJ Scrupps is a highly motivated multi-sport athlete from Newburyport High School whose competitive drive and work ethic are evident in every season. At 5'10", 195 pounds, AJ plays middle linebacker with a physical, downhill style, combining toughness, instincts, and leadership on the defensive side of the ball. As a long snapper, he is committed to refining his technique and developing into a dependable specialist at the next level.

A true three-sport athlete, AJ also excels on the baseball field as a first baseman and pitcher, where he demonstrates versatility, athleticism, and a strong understanding of the game. During the winter, he competes in alpine ski racing, a sport that demands exceptional balance, coordination, focus, and mental toughness—qualities that translate directly to football and baseball.

AJ's commitment extends beyond athletics. He earned a 4.35 GPA during his freshman year, demonstrating the discipline, time management, and character required to succeed in the classroom while competing year-round in multiple varsity-level sports.
