Jacob Dombrowski

Coach Dombrowski started his kicking and punting career at Gaylor High School in Michigan before becoming a standout punter at Harvard University (2009-2012). While at Harvard, Jake earned honors as First Team All-Ivy Punter, Academic All-Ivy Punter, Capital One All-District, New England Football Writers Dream Team Punter, and holds Harvard records for highest punt average in a single-game, single-season, and career.

Following a successful collegiate career, he went on to earn multiple NFL tryouts with the Redskins, Giants, Jets, and Buccaneers, as well as the BC Lions in the CFL. In 2014 he signed a free-agent contract with the Buffalo Bills.

Currently, he runs the Kohl's Training Division in Ann Arbor Michigan, working with kickers and punters across the state of Michigan.

Coach Dombrowski also uses his recruiting experience as one of the better athletic recruiting educators in the country. He currently educates athletes and parents in navigating the recruiting process to help athletes give themselves the best chance at the next level with his company, Underdog Consulting.

20 Kohl's Athletes Compete in 2026 NFL Combine

A total of 20 Kohl's athletes were invited to workout at the 2026 NFL Combine!

Kohl's athletes made up 6 of the 7 main specialists invited to participate in testing, interviews, and workouts for NFL coaches while an additional 14 earned an invitation to workout. Invites are given through earning votes from NFL coaches, continuing the rich history of Kohl's athletes in the NFL Combine.
