Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Dustin Hopkins began his training with the Kohl's staff in junior high and has continued through his NFL career.
Hopkins was recruited by Florida State out of Clear Lake High School in Houston, TX after they were impressed with his tremendous kickoff ability. During his collegiate career, Dustin would set the NCAA FBS career record of points scored by a kicker at 448.
He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 6th round of the 2013 Draft but due to injuries and competition, Dustin eventually found his way to the Washington Redskins for the 2015 season. He has kicked over 230 field goals throughout his NFL career.
