Malone participated in the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase, demonstrating solid technique and body control during the drill work. He scored 4 points on the field goal charting. Malone had all of his kickoffs surpass the 55-yard mark, with his best kick being 61 yards with a hang time of 3.12 seconds. Malone's potential is evident, if he shows a commitment to improving his leg strength and ball striking consistency he should take great steps forward in competing with the higher ranked athletes.
